Welcome to Developing Matters CIC

At Developing Matters CIC, we believe in equipping young people, educators, and caregivers with the tools to support mental health and wellbeing. Our approach is built on mindful learning and living, helping individuals develop lifelong strategies to understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

We focus on learning about the brain, understanding how it influences thinking patterns, emotions and actions, and exploring different strategies tailored to individual preferences. Through courses, training, intervention delivery, and self-guided manuals, young people and adults can access practical ways to navigate challenges, develop flexible thinking, and make informed choices. We also offer books to support ongoing learning and reflection.

We support:

  • School staff through our Mindful & Wellbeing Practitioner Course (ages 9+), helping them deliver a structured mindful curriculum.
  • Parents and caregivers with bite-sized courses that provide practical strategies to support mindful living and learning, focusing on brain development as well as understanding thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
  • Young people and adults with self-guided manuals and targeted interventions, helping them learn about the brain and develop skills independently and at their own pace.
